Hi, we are the team at Hubert Waltermann GmbH & Co.
Our company was founded in 1934 by Hubert Waltermann Sr. and has since developed from an artisan blacksmith’s workshop into a leading industrial company.
At the beginning of the 1970s, we developed the SIKA hook, which quickly became the most popular sling in combination with wire ropes. Today, we export our products in Germany and worldwide.
The company is now in the third generation of the Waltermann family.
As a drop forge and hardware factory, we primarily manufacture chain and wire rope accessories for lifting purposes. You can see what some of these products and hooks look like here on the website.
The larger products can lift up to 16 tonnes.
What we do:
The chain accessories we manufacture are labelled with the H97 stamp. This means that they have been approved and tested by the relevant employers’ liability insurance association or the DGUV. Accordingly, you can expect exciting and evolving production processes with high quality standards. We export our products worldwide from our plant in Balve-Garbeck, which employs 30 people.
In our family-run company, flat hierarchies and a friendly atmosphere are just as important to us as our long-term orientation. We look forward to getting to know you.
